  It's pretty cheap place, if you compare with other museums in Turkey, but still it's pretty interesting there. The view is beautiful and also there is possibility of handcrafting)

  The flier for the museum was more interesting and promising than the museum itself. Mardin is a crazily interesting place to be, and deserves a better museum. I cannot believe all they can offer could be that, considering it's maybe the heart of Mesopotamia. Shame.

  There are so many historical objets. I experienced an old technique of printing bullet money. That was gourgeous.

  Having been to Mardin on numerous occasions, I have finally managed to see the museum. Its contents certainly do justice to the magnificient building. In a city like Mardin, a city museum should reflect the local architecture and culture in the best possible manner. Mardin Museum does just that. Even if you are not interested in archaeology or history, the building is itself worth visiting. The panorama from the top is absolutely breathtaking. Hosting many art and culture related activities, the museum seems to be the beating heart of this enigmatic city.
